I bought this rear basket for the size (it's big enough for a healthy grocery run) and I liked the quick-release function. Unfortunately, on my very first ride, my bike fell over and one of the grip supports broke off, which meant that the basket could no longer be securely attached to my back rack.
It was very disappointing. I went back to my local bike shop and they zap-strapped the basket permanently to my rear rack (which means I can't use any pannier bags). I guess I have permanent cargo room.
If you're buying this big basket because of the quick-release function and the portability, don't expect it to stand up to any real-life use.
